Hello
Hi! I am Elizabeth. Bear with me. I am new to this blogging thing-so I am trying to set it up. I am going to post some of my projects I have recently created at some classes, some cards I have made, maybe some things I have done in the past- altered clipboards, name frame, scrapbook pages, etc. I also take TONS of pictures of birds- with my digital camera. Another hobby of mine. I have about 20-25 different species or more at my house!
I have been stamping for about 8-9 yrs. I started out with cards- then went into scrapbooking a few yrs later. I became a SU demonstrator a few yrs ago- but it was mainly to get product at a discount! I have TONS of their stamps, punches, etc.! I never got rid of my retired sets because I wanted to use them for scrapbook pages. I am still catching up with my daughter's baby and childhood pages-and now she is going to have a baby boy in JULY! I still have to scrap my step-son that came to live with us his senior yr- (pics from graduation and wrestling days-and Army stuff). (He graduated 2007.) My daughter is very young still and married- we thought her husband was going to be deployed- so we let her get married last May. (Since my hausband was deployed in January to Iraq we agreed-because our son-in law's job was a dangerous one and he was scheduled to go.) He ended up getting hurt before he got out of his AIT and had to get out- so they are back here in town. (Luckily I will be close to my first granchild! My daughter will be 18yrs old in May and her husband 20 yrs old in May. They will be married a yr in May. We had a beach wedding for them in Sept. because my husband had 2 weeks leave and was here to walk her down the aisle so we had a beautiful wedding then! I STILL have to scrap those pictures too!
I also have my pets to scrap, my husband's Iraq tour pics, and baby stuff! I better get busy-HUH!
I am going to get this blog designed- and sign up for all this cool blog candy everyone has out there to win! Goodness knows we can NEVER have enough product!!!
I am linking some other blog sites I just found last night that I think have AWESOME work- and mine will be added hopefully daily, so keep checking back! I hope to have templates, how-to's, etc. when I am done! That is my goal!
(One cool bit of info is I did win 3rd place in Simple Scrapbooks Conventions Contest a couple of yrs ago and one of my 12x12 scrapbook pages was published in Scrapbooks and Beyond Magazine! I also won an Honorable Mention for a photo of one of my birds and my name was published in Creative Techniques Magazine at that same Convention! )
I will have to put the page and pic on this blog!
Thanks again for checking out my blog!
